Look out, "American Horror Story" -- some spooky competition is headed your way.

"Ringer" creators Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder have signed a deal with NBC for a Gothic thriller set in New Orleans.

The as-yet untitled project may not contain the supernatural elements of "Ahs" or "True Blood," but it is being described by the trades as being "being rich with tradition, superstition and murder."
