Il film su Deadpool, richiesto a gran voce dai fans, ha una sceneggiatura pronta e un regista a bordo da tempo. Nonostante ciò il film non riesce, per svariati motivi, ad entrare in produzione. Newsarama riporta che Ryan Reynolds ora avrebbe firmato per entrare nel cast del film Queen of the Night; questo suo ingaggio, insieme a quello nel kolossal Highlander, che lo vede come protagonista, renderebbero la sua agenda fitta di impegni. Tanto fitta da dover rimandare nuovamente la produzione di Deadpool a data da destinarsi. Attualmente non c'erano, comunque, delle novità riguardo il film sul mercenario della Marvel; la Twentieth Century Fox, infatti, sembra davvero "occupata" con tanti altri film tratti dai fumetti della Marvel (The Wolverine esce a luglio 2013, X-Men: Days of Future past è previsto per luglio 2014, c'è in cantiere anche il reboot sui Fantastici 4 e, fino a fine anno, anche un reboot di Daredevil è »
