Il Cavaliere Oscuro - il Ritorno arriva a 390 milioni negli Stati Uniti, ma scende al terzo posto: primo The Bourne Legacy, seguito da Candidato a Sorpresa...
Soddisfazione a Universal City: il reboot della saga di Bourne ha funzionato, o per lo meno ha vinto il weekend in linea con le aspettative, anche se con un incasso decisamente sotto gli ultimi due episodi.
Dopo un venerdì che aveva fatto pensare a un weekend oltre i 42-43 milioni, la conclusione delle olimpiadi ha frenato leggermente la corsa di The Bourne Legacy, che comunque ha chiuso il weekend sopra i 40 milioni. Il film, costato 125 milioni (cui va aggiunto il marketing), dovrà ovviamente reggere bene nei prossimi weekend per dimostrarsi un successo, con l'aggiunta del box-office internazionale, che per il momento sembra molto promettente (7.8 milioni in 13 mercati minori). Seconda posizione per The Campaign - Candidato a Sorpresa, che ha incassato ben 27.4 milioni di dollari. »
