In una intervista che il regista Guillermo del Toro ha rilasciato al sito Collider rivela alcuni retroscena della quarta stagione di Breaking Bad. In particolare la parte del dottore messicano che compare nell'episodio Crawl Space era stata scritta per lui.Il regista è un grande fan della serie e non risparmia di riportare le sue preoccupazioni per l'episodio Face Off. Per di più svela come il suo coinvolgimento da parte della produzione di The Walking Dead gli abbia permesso di imparare di più su altri progetti a cui stava lavorando: inSANE e Pacific Rim su tutti. In campo serie TV del Toro svela di avere anche qualcosa in cantiere con lo scrittore dei libri da cui è tratta Game of Thrones, George R.R. Martin. »
