Christopher Mintz-Plasse has spoken of his excitement to begin filming Kick-Ass 2. The follow-up to Matthew Vaughn's adaptation of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr's comic book series was confirmed earlier this year for a potential May 2013 release. Superbad star Mintz-Plasse has now offered his thoughts on the project, promising that the film will live up to its predecessor. He told Collider: "It's super-violent and bloody and funny and it's got a great cast. I'm really excited. I fly out to London in a week to get started... on rehearsals and wardrobe and stuff and then I think we start shooting September. "It's going to be busy because I'm flying back and forth because I'm shooting a show for CBS as well, so I'll be shooting a couple of weeks September, fly back, go out again in October for like a week, (more) »
