Non è un caso che i casting di The Hunger Games – La Ragazza di Fuoco, il sequel di Hunger Games che tra pochi giorni inizierà la fase delle riprese, arrivino puntuali come un “orologio”. Evitiamo di parlarne ora per evitare spoiler eccessivi, e presentiamo il nuovo personaggio scelto dalla Lionsgate e dal nuovo regista Francis Lawrence (Io Sono Leggenda) e annunciato dalla pagina Facebook del film.
Si tratta di E. Roger Mitchell, attore di teatro visto anche in televisione in serie come The Shields, N.C.I.S., e al cinema in pellicole come Battle: Los Angeles, The Crazies, Swat e molte altre. A breve lo vedremo anche in Flight di Robert Zemeckis.. Interpreterà il ruolo di Chaff, tributo del Distretto 11 proprio come la piccola Rue del primo film, un distretto amico del 12 di Katniss in quanto molto povero (è quello dell’agricoltura).
