Con le riprese fissate il prossimo settembre, si sta definitivamente ultimando il cast di Kick-Ass 2, il sequel di Kick-Ass (il cinecomic diretto da Matthew Vaughn uscito nel 2010 con un grande successo di critica). Diretto questa volta non più da Vaughn ma da Jeff Wadlow, il film ritrova il protagonista del primo capitolo Aaron Johnson nei panni del protagonista Kick-Ass e nel cast torneranno anche la mitica Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse e Nicolas Cage. Le new entry sono invece rappresentate da John Leguizamo (nel ruolo di Javier, la guardia del corpo di Red Mist, il malvagio super criminale) e, notizia di ieri, da Donald Faison (Scrubs) nei panni di Dr. Gravity, uno studente pronto ad aiutare Kick-Ass.
Ma ci sono anche altre novità. Arriva da The Hollywood Reporter la notizia di oggi di un altro ritorno, quello di Yancy Butler nei panni di Angie D’Amico, alias la madre di Red Mist. »
