Tim Robbins torna a dirigere un film dopo Dead Man Walking e Il Prezzo della Libertà: si tratta di City of Lies, scritto dagli sceneggiatori di Captain America...
Tim Robbins torna dietro la macchina da presa, dopo la partecipazione come attore al flop di Lanterna Verde e aalla commedia Thanks for Sharing.
Secondo l'Hollywood Reporter, infatti, Robbins dirigerà City of Lies, adattamento di un racconto radiofonico di Arthur Phillips "Wenceslas Square", un thriller di spionaggio su un giovane agente della CIA e una bella spia della Cecoslovacchia che si incontrano a Praga durante la Guerra Fredda.
Regista di film come Il prezzo della libertà e Dead Man Walking, Robbins ha anche diretto alcuni episodi della serie tv Treme. Per City of Lies lavorerà su una sceneggiatura di Christopher Markus e Stephen McFeely, che hanno scritto Captain America: il Primo Vendicatore. »
