Toy Story 4 probabilmente non vedrà mai la luce, ma gli amati protagonisti della saga possiamo ritrovarli comunque sul grande schermo. Due corti animati sono già arrivati sul grande schermo (l’ultimo era Vacanze Hawaiiane) ed uno è in produzione!
Si tratta di Partysaurus Rex, corto che avrà come protagonista Rex, il Tirannosauro fifone e dolcissimo visto sin dal primo episodio. Nel corto Rex verrà usato da Bonnie come giocattolo per divertirsi durante il bagnetto, con conseguenze esilaranti.
Ecco cosa ha detto Mark Walsh, regista e già animatore per Nemo, Ratatouille e tanti altri lungometraggi della Pixar:
“Se sei un giocattolo da bagno, è inevitabile essere usato per un gioco più intenso. È come una festa. [...] Mi piace Rex, che nella sua dolcezza pensa di poter reinventare quello che è l’immagine dell’animale da party. Sarà aiutato in questo compito quando si ritroverà ad aiutare gli altri giocattoli da bagno »
