Sony is moving up the release date of Roland Emmerich's upcoming White House action thriller to the summer of 2013, the studio said. The film, with the working title "White House Down," was originally slated to premiere on Nov. 1, 2013, but it will now debut on June 28, 2013. The new release date will put it head-to-head with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson's comedy "The Internship" and Ryan Reynolds' supernatural thriller "R.I.P.D."
