BBC Three has commissioned a number of new shows for late 2012 and beyond. The Batman Shootings (working title) is a one-off current affairs film hosted by Amal Fashanu and will explore the circumstances surrounding the recent shootings in Aurora, Colorado at a screening of The Dark Knight Rises. Unsafe Sex in the City is a four-part series exploring the outcome of unprotected sex and the consequences of sexually transmitted diseases, while the three-part Stacey Dooley in the USA will follow TV host Dooley as she investigates shocking new youth trends across America. Comedy panel series Britain Unzipped - retitled simply Unzipped - will also return for a second series with original hosts Greg James and Russell Kane. Two new comedy series have also been ordered.
