Noomi Rapace et Michael Fassbender rempileront dans la suite du film de science-fiction de Ridley Scott.
Les studios Fox ont confirmé avoir lancé le développement actif d'un prolongement à Prometheus, film de science-fiction située dans l'univers d'Alien, le huitième passager (1979), rapporte The Hollywood Reporter.
La major hollywoodienne recherche activement des scénaristes capables de pallier l'indisponibilité de Damon Lindelof. Ancienne tête pensante de Lost, il a été l'artisan de l'intrigue du film originel, parfois décriée pour avoir apporté davantage de questions que de réponses à la mythologie Alien.
«Ridley [Scott] est très excité par le film, mais nous devons faire cela bien. Nous ne pouvons pas nous précipiter», a déclaré Emma Watts, présidente de la production chez Fox. »
