Con Agosto iniziano le riprese di molti film tra cui alcuni sequel di casa Marvel tra cui Thor: The Dark World, titolo confermato per il secondo film sul dio nordico dei fumetti. Trapelano nuovi dettagli su alcune possibili location della pellicola diretta da Alan Taylor: secondo il sito islandese Svarthofdi il film sarà girato più in ambienti naturali che con l'aiuto degli schermi verdi.Il regista, che ha girato nell'isola del nord Europa anche Game of Thrones, non è l'unico ad aver scelto questo luogo, gli altri film sono: Prometheus, Batman Begins, Oblivion e Noah. »
