El famoso estudio de animación Ghibli nos ofrece un tráiler de su primera incursión en la imagen real. Se trata de un corto titulado Kyoshinhei Tokyo ni Arawaru (Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo), dicho corto se presentará en el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Tokio como parte de la muestra “Kanchō Anno Hideaki Tokusatsu Hakubutsukan” (Museo de los Efectos Especiales realizado por Hieaki Anno) que se mantendrá abierta entre el 10 de julio y el 8 de octubre.
La pieza ha sido creada por Hideaki Anno, el conocido director de Neon Genesis Evangelion, y su duración, aún no confirmada, oscilará entre los cinco y los diez minutos. La dirección del corto ha recaído en Shinji Higuchi, autor de los storyboards de Evangelion y uno de los responsables de la muestra.
La técnica usada es un homenaje a la tradición japonesa del tokusatsu, género de gran éxito e influencia en el país del sol naciente. »
