The cast of Roland Emmerich’s White House Down has already added some heavy hitters to its line-up, but now it’s getting one more. Joey King, the young actress from The Dark Knight Rises, has just signed on as the daughter of Channing Tatum‘s character in the film.

Tatum plays a Secret Service agent assigned to protect the White House. When terrorists strike on his first day on the job, he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands. According to The Film Stage, it must be take your daughter to work day at the White House because Tatum’s character will apparently have “one more hostage to worry about.”

This film may not be as high profile as The Dark Knight Rises, but it’s a good chance for King to continue establishing herself as a young actress. She will star alongside some impressive names like Jamie Foxx, »
