Peter Jackson has revealed that he hopes to extend the Lord of the Rings franchise beyond 2013's The Hobbit: There and Back Again. Speaking to HitFix at Comic-Con, the producer and director divulged that talks with Warner Bros are under way with a view to splitting the second Hobbit movie into two. "That's a discussion we're having, yeah," he said, referring to a potential break-up of the final movie.
