Il panel della DreamWorks Animation, tenutosi alla Indigo Ballroom, presentato dal co-presidente della produzione alla Dwa, Bill Damaschke, dal supervisore dell’animazione in The Croods, James Baxter, dal regista dei film di Madagascar e doppiatore di Skipper, Tom McGrath, e dal production designer di Le 5 leggende Patrick Hanenberger, è stato concentrato sui prossimi due film dello studio: Le 5 leggende avente come protagonisti Babbo Natale, la fata del dentino, il coniglio pasquale, Sandman e Jack Frost che devono unirsi per combattere il malvagio Pitch, e The Croods, un film avventuroso avente come protagonista una famiglia, ambientato ai tempi dei cavernicoli.
La conferenza è iniziata con un montaggio composto di scene provenienti dai film di Kung Fu Panda, Dragon Trainer, Shrek, e in particolare da Madagascar 3, in questo momento nei cinema in America, a cui sono seguite delle scene tratte da Le 5 leggende. La sequenza era incentrata su Jack »
