Uno dei prop più interessanti presentati quest’anno al Comic-Con di San Diego, riguarda il nuovo film di Neill Blomkamp (District 9), Elysium.
Vicino al Hard Rock Hotel è stato creato un display in cui si può vedere una navicella firmata Bugatti, schiantatasi contro l’edificio.
Sappiamo che il film è ambientato nell’anno 2159 e che il mondo è suddiviso in due classi, i ricchi che vivono a Elysium, una stazione spaziale creata dalla compagnia Armadyne e il resto della popolazione, che vive nella sovrappopolata e rovinata Terra.
La navicella proviene ovviamente da Elysium, non sappiamo se appartiene a Max (Matt Damon) incaricato, non si sa da chi, di una missione spaventosa.
All’interno della convention sono stati appesi i primi banner del film, e un check-point di confine della Armadyne, dove un concierge umanoide saluta i partecipanti della convention, che chiede alla gente se ha le qualificazioni per andare a vivere su Elysium. »
