Dopo aver testimoniato l’enorme successo al box office del film "The Avengers" si prevede ora che ci sia un nuovo film con protagonista un gruppo di supereroi. Un articolo di Variety ha rivelato che la Warner Bros ha in programma un film sulla ‘justice league’ – la lega della giustizia, un insieme di supereroi che include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman e Lanterna Verde tra gli altri. Il film sarebbe previsto per il 2015 ma una data precisa si avrà dopo l’uscita di "Il Cavaliere oscuro – il ritorno", come ha annunciato lo stesso Jeff Robinov, presidente di Warner Bros film group. "La mia speranza" ha detto Robinov, "é che nel corso del prossimo mese, o giù di lì, avremo un’idea precisa dei prossimi film tratti dai fumetti DC di cui ci occuperemo".
