Ed Helms has entered into negotiations to star in a National Lampoon's Vacation reboot. The film will be directed by Horrible Bosses' John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, and will reportedly act as both a sequel and a reboot to the 1983 original, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Helms is in talks to star as Rusty Griswold, played by Anthony Michael Hall in the original series, now grown up and with a family of his own. The original film, which starred Chevy Chase and was directed by Harold Ramis, was based on writer John Hughes's experiences on his own family vacations. (more) »
