Shamelessly schmaltzy and predictable from first moment to last, Rob Reiner’s The Magic of Belle Isle nonetheless manages to conjure a certain spell. It’s partly because of its gorgeous setting, played by the picturesque hamlet of Greenwood Lake, New York.
