It's a pretty sparse week for DVD and Blu-ray releases thanks in large part to the holiday weekend, but if you dig a little bit, you just mind find something worth watching. The biggest releases of the week are a pair of indie flicks: Bobcat Goldthwait's dark comedy God Bless America and the Willem Dafoe thriller The Hunter. Some other small but noteworthy films out this week include Jesus Henry Christ starring Toni Collette and Michael Sheen, the Martin Freeman / Mandy Moore comedy Swinging with the Finkels, and the genre festival hit Some Guy Who Kills People. New to Blu-ray we also have Barbarella, Tough Enough starring Dennis Quad, and the always inspirational John Travolta drama Phenomenon, plus let's not forget the soon-to-be-classic stoner comedy Mac & Devin Go to High School starring Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.
