Outfest is bringing some television to its 30th anniversary iteration. The Los Angeles film festival, which announced a line-up that includes "Keep the Lights On," "How to Survive a Plague" and "Struck By Lightning" earlier this month, announced today that it's adding a screening of a never-before-broadcast episode of ABC's comedy "Happy Endings," to be followed by a Q&A with cast members Adam Pally (who plays Max), Casey Wilson (Penny), Stephen Guarino (Derrick), creator and executive producer David Caspe and executive producer Jonathan Groff. The panel and screening will take place on Saturday, July 22 at 1:00pm at the Director’s Guild of America (DGA 1). Max, the character played by Pally on the series, is widely heralded for going against small-screen expectations in terms of depictions of gay characters.
