Hollywood scherza sulla voglia di maternità e sul post- con due commedie ad hoc: The Babymakers, in cui Paul Schneider interpreta un uomo che non riesce a mettere incinta la moglie, e Che cosa aspettarsi quando si aspetta, in cui un cast femminile all star (Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks) affrontano in modi diversi il pancione. Demi Moore e Miley Cyrus, invece, affrontano il delicato rapporto tra madre e figlia in Lol – Pazza del mio migliore amico, remake della pellicola francese con Sophie Marceau. Parla invece della paterntà, anche se a modo suo, la nuova pellicola di Adam Sandler That’s My Boy.
