Man of Steel, il reboot su Superman di Zack Snyder e Christopher Nolan, dovrebbe dedicare buona parte delle sue scene al pianeta Krypton e a come è stato distrutto: differentemente dal Superman del 1978, quindi, offrirà agli spettatori uno scorcio preciso del mondo originario dell'Uomo d'Acciaio, nel quale gli abitanti vestiranno con abiti medievaleggianti e parleranno una lingua tutta loro.
