L'interprete di Star Trek sarà un giudice dai modi discutibili in Devil's Knot, dramma che ricostruisce il caso giudiziario dei Tre di West Memphis. Con lui Michael Gladis e Matt Letscher. Un trio di interpreti si è unito al cast di Devil's Knot di Atom Egoyan, pellicola dedicata al celebre caso giudiziario dei Tre di West Memphis che sconvolse gli Stati Uniti negli anni '90. Focus del film sono tre adolescenti che, nel 1993, furono condannati per l'omicidio di tre bambini di otto anni nell'ambito di quello che fu descritto come un rituale satanico. La sentenza, da subito molto discussa, si basava sulla confessione di uno dei tre ragazzi, che dalle perizie si è rivelato soffrire di un ritardo mentale.
