Dopo il successo raggiunto recentemente con il loro Act of Valor, i Bandito Bros. tornano all’attacco con un nuovo progetto da loro prodotto: un film di fantascienza dalle atmosfere alla District 9 che vede per protagonista una sorta di uomo-robot creato da un esperimento voluto in segreto dal Governo e non andato secondo i piani… Titolo: The Prototype.
Al momento non sono stati resi noti molti dettagli sulla trama, ma sappiamo che nel cast ci saranno Neal McDonough (Captain America: the First Avenger, Minority Report), Joseph Mawle, Anna Anissimova. Alla regia troviamo invece Andrew Will che ha scritto anche la sceneggiatura. Ecco il teaser trailer che è approdato in rete. Come vi sembra?
Il budget di The Prototype si aggira sui 40 milioni di dollari, una cifra discretamente superiore ai 12 milioni con cui i Bandito Bros. avevano realizzato Act of Valor. Al momento, non è stata ancora fissata una data di uscita americana né italiana. »
