Universal Pictures ha recentemente acquistato i diritti di distribuzione di Catching Fire (“La Ragazza di Fuoco” in italiano), secondo adattamento cinematografico della saga di The Hunger Games, la trilogia fantascientifica scritta da Suzanne Collins (Qui la news dedicata al premio Oscar Philip Seymour Hoffman).
Ecco arrivare la data di uscita della pellicola, e i fan saranno contenti che questa volta arriverà in contemporanea con gli Stati Uniti il giorno 22 novembre 2013.
Le riprese del sequel stanno per iniziare (si parla di agosto) e a breve dovrebbero essere annunciati i casting di importanti personaggi come Finnick Odair, Johanna Mason e Plutarch Heavensbee.
Il film sarà diretto da Francis Lawrence (Io Sono Leggenda) e ha una sceneggiatura dei premi Oscar Simon Beaufoy e Michael Arndt.
