Uno dei flop al cinema più pesanti a livello economico degli ultimi anni è stato di sicuro il fantascientifico John Carter, il film della Walt Disney Pictures è costato circa 250 milioni e ne ha portati a casa soltanto 280, il che ha reso impossibile continuare a raccontare altre storie tratte dai romanzi di Edgar Rice Burroughs o almeno cosi sembrerebbe.
Le ultime parole di uno degli sceneggiatori, ora regista del cartoon Ribelle - The Brave, vale a dire Mark Andrews, hanno riaperto strade nuove per quanto riguarda il futuro della saga fantascientifica legata a John Carter.
Per Mark, John Carter ha subito una mancanza pesante di fiducia da parte della stessa Disney che lo ha ritenuto da subito un flop, il regista ha voluto rivelare la scarsa operazione di marketing fatta per promuovere il film prima dell'esordio cinematografico.Leggi tutto »
