I Walt Disney Studios annunciano che mercoledì 13 giugno sono iniziate le riprese di Maleficent, con Angelina Jolie. Diretto dal due volte premio Oscar alle scenografie Robert Stromberg, qui al debutto come regista, e prodotto da Joe Roth, Maleficent è stato scritto da Linda Woolverton e prodotto a livello esecutivo da Angelina Jolie, Don Hahn, Matt Smith e Palak Patel. Nel film ci saranno anche Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple e Lesley Manville. »
