A campanha de marketing em redor de The Master tem sido bem subtil, mas não por isso menos interessante. Foi hoje revelado um segundo teaser trailer que funciona também como um pequeno clip do filme de Paul Thomas Anderson:
O teaser destaca Joaquin Phoenix que no filme interpreta Freddie Sutton, um ex-alcoólico que se torna aliado de um culto semelhante à Cientologia e do seu mentor Lancaster Dodd (Philip Seymour Hoffman), que começa a questionar a fé a partir do momento em que este atine proporções fervorosas. Amy Adams será Mary-Sue, esposa cuidadosa e protectora de Lancaster Dodd.
O filme conta ainda com Jesse Plemons (Friday Night Lights), David Warshofsky (There Will Be Blood), Laura Dern (Inland Empire), Lena Endre (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Rami Malek (The Pacific), Madisen Beaty (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Joshua Close (Diary of the Dead) e Fiona Dourif (The Messenger), entre outros. »
