Mentre in Italia seguivamo con trepidazione la nazionale azzurra, in America si assegnavano i Tv Critics Choice Awards, i premi assegnati dall’associazione americana dei critici televisivi. E le previsioni sono state rispettate quasi del tutto.
Tra i migliori drama, lotta testa a testa tra Homeland e Mad Men: vince lo spy drama targato Showtime, che si porta a casa il premio per la miglior serie e per l’attrice Claire Danes. Il drama “pubblicitario” di AMC invece si accontenta del premio a Christina Hendricks come attrice non protagonista, mentre due premi li conquista Breaking Bad, quello per il miglior attore Bryan Cranston e e il non protagonista Giancarlo Esposito. Lucy Liu vince come guest star in Southland.
Tra le comedy invece vittoria per Community come miglior serie, anche se tramuta in premio solo una delle sei candidature: tra gli attori protagonisti vincono Louis C. K. per Louie e »
