Continua l’ascesa dell’attore francese, premio Oscar per The Artist, Jean Dujardin, in trattative per entrare nel cast nel nuovo film di Martin Scorsese: The Wolf of Wall Street.
Il film, le cui riprese dovrebbero iniziare in agosto a New York, è tratto dall’omonimo libro di memorie del broker Jordan Belfort e segue le vicende del famoso uomo d’affari che, dopo essere arrivato al successo, tra party “pericolosi”, droga e alcolismo, viene accusato di frode e bancarotta.
Ad interpretare il protagonista, Belfort, sarà Leonardo DiCaprio, mentre Dujardin dovrebbe ricoprire il ruolo di Jean-Jacques Handali, un banchiere svizzero che viene coinvolto negli affari illeciti del broker.
Nel cast, attualmente, sono presenti anche Jonah Hill, che interpreta l’amico e socio di Belfort, e Kyle Chandler, l’agente dell’FBI che incastrerà il broker. (Foto GettyImages)
