Teen Wolf

“Ice Pick” Air Date: 6/11/2012

Last season, MTV’s Teen Wolf suffered from having to endure the boring, tired and true origin story of a young werewolf. We’ve seen variations of it in every superhero movie, in Smallville, hell we saw it in the original Teen Wolf (yeah, it was a little different) and we’ll see it time and time again. Now that that’s mercilessly over, and the Scott/Allison love story is established, Teen Wolf can focus on other characters and broadening its increasingly furry universe. The result has been interesting, which is a start.

We open on Allison, filling up at the local gas station, alone, at night. She’s alone at night far too often. To make that point for me, Allison is kidnapped and tied up. Across from her, in the nondescript basement, is her Dad, Argent (Jr Bourne), struggling out of his bonds. »
