Abbie Cornish (Limitless, Sucker Punch) pourrait incarner la femme d’Alex Murphy, donc sa veuve lorsque celui-ci est subitement tué avant de devenir un robot.
Gary Oldman, Joel Kinnaman et Samuel L. Jackson ont aussi été embauchés pour le film.
L’acteur suédois Joel Kinnaman, que l'on a pu voir dans The Killing, The Darkest Hours et The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, sera la vedette du remake du film RoboCop de 1987. »
