Hugh Laurie, alias il cinico e simpatico Dr. House, è stato scelto per interpretare il ruolo del cattivo nel remake di Robocop: nello specifico sarà il ricchissimo e spregiudicato amministratore delegato della Omnicorp, la società che ha creato il cyborg. La storia, com'è noto, racconta di un agente di polizia di Detroit che, ferito gravemente mentre è in servizio, viene trasformato in Robocop: una creatura metà umana e metà robot programmata per combattere la criminalità; insieme a Laurie, nel cast troveremo anche Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Abbie Cornish e Samuel L.
