Il regista di Tron: Legacy, Joseph Kosinski, sta girando a New York il film sci-fi Oblivion, con Tom Cruise. La pellicola dovrebbe arrivare nei cinema americani il 26 Aprile 2013 ed è basata su una linea di fumetti di Kosinski non ancora pubblicata da Radical Publishingh.In un futuro la superficie della terra non sarà abitabile e gli umani si rifugiano al di sopra delle nuvole, lasciando le rovine della civiltà agli alieni Scavengers; quando Jak, un tecnico manutentore, trova una misteriosa donna in una capsula di salvataggio, il personaggio inizierà a chiedersi se c'è dell'altro rispetto alla storia di cui lui è a conoscenza.
