Poco fa vi abbiamo aggiornato su un possibile casting di Catching Fire (“La Ragazza di Fuoco” in italiano), secondo adattamento cinematografico della saga di The Hunger Games, la trilogia fantascientifica scritta da Suzanne Collins (Qui la news dedicata al premio Oscar Philip Seymour Hoffman).
Arriva ora la notizia che non sarà più Warner Bros a distribuire la saga nel nostro paese, ma la Universal Pictures. Sono infatti stati acquistati i diritti di distribuzione per il mercato italiano, per un’uscita che avverrà nell’autunno del 2013 (negli Stati Uniti è fissata da tempo la data del 22 novembre).
Helen Lee Kim, presidente della Lionsgate International, ha commentato:
Siamo lieti di ampliare la nostra partnership di successo internazionale con Universal per il mercato dell’Italia grazie a questo franchise emozionante. Abbiamo un rapporto produttivo ottimo con la Universal in alcuni territori, come per i recenti What to Expect When You’re Expecting e Quella Casa nel Bosco. »
