There has always been some level of ‘hype’ concerning Seth Grahame-Smith’s alternative takes on history. Following on from the success of “Pride, Prejudice and Zombies” came “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”, the release of which was accompanied by its own trailer- something rarely seen for novels. It wasn’t long of course before the project was greenlit for a film production and none other than Mr action-packed-vampires helmer Timur Bekmambetov jumped on board to direct.

After taking on a big budget adaptation with “Wanted” and being known for his feisty Russian vampire flicks you could say he was absolutely the man for the job. Now we are mere weeks from the release date and promotional materials and plot teasers are popping up everywhere.
