NBC is taking on the Hatfields & McCoys. Less than a week after news broke that Oscar winner Charlize Theron would shop a modern-day series based on the famous feuding families, she has sold the project in an off-network move to NBC, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The project hails from ABC Studios, where Theron has an overall deal. Through her Denver and Delilah Productions banner, Theron and producers Dawn Olmstead (Prison Break) and Beau Flynn (Journey to the Center of the Earth) are behind the project, with John Glenn (Eagle Eye) attached as a writer.
