El autor de ciencia ficción Ray Bradbury, quien es mejor conocido por "A Sound of Thunder", "The Illustrated Man", "It Came from Outer Space", "The Martian Chronicles" y "Fahrenheit 451", murió el martes por la noche en Los Ángeles. Tenía 91 años de edad. Innumerables obras de Bradbury se han convertido en películas, shows y obras de teatro. El autor también inspiró una serie de directores como Steven Spielberg, Guillermo del Toro, Frank Darabont y muchos otros. Del Toro comentó sobre la muerte de Bradbury: "Me siento más solo. El mundo es vasto y árido. Bradbury fue uno de los titanes de la ficción fantástica y una voz única en la literatura Americana. El lirismo de su prosa influyó a muchas generaciones en todo el mundo.
