NBC's upcoming series "Hannibal" has found its titular shrink-turned-cannibalistic killer. Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen will play Dr. Hannibal Lecter, according to the Hollywood Reporter, joining the previously announced Hugh Dancy as criminal profiler Will Graham. The 13-episode "Hannibal," created by Bryan Fuller (of "Pushing Daisies") will look at the early days of Thomas Harris' famous character, before he's discovered and when he's working with the FBI to help them catch another killer. Mikkelsen's already gotten to play his share of charismatic villains -- he was Bond adversary Le Chiffre in "Casino Royale" and expert (evil) dueler Captain Rochefort in "The Three Musketeers," and is reportedly in talks to take on a villain role in "Thor 2." In less overtly dastardly roles, he also won the best actor prize at Cannes last month for his role in Thomas Vinterberg's »
