A judge in director Julie Taymor's ongoing Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark lawsuit has threatened to eliminate key evidence in the case. Taymor has been in litigation with producers at 8 Legged Productions, who she sued last year for failing to compensate her for creative work she alleges they stole for the Broadway production. 8 Legged Productions then counter-sued Taymor, claiming that the final, revised version of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark bore no resemblance to her original script. It says that Taymor was fired for refusing to co-operate with changes to the final product.
