Robert De Niro, uno dei mostri sacri di Hollywood, torna oggi al cinema con il thriller adrenalinico Killer Elite, dove interpreta un ex agente delle forze speciali in pensione costretto a tornare in azione. Il film, tratto da una storia vera e basato sul romanzo The Feather Men (1991) di Sir Ranulph Fiennes, segue infatti le avventure di un ex agente delle forze speciali britanniche (Jason Statham) costretto a tornare in azione per salvare il suo mentore (De Niro). La sua missione? Uccidere tre assassini. Peccato che a difenderli sono stati messi degli spietati agenti delle forze speciali guidati da un uomo senza scrupoli (Clive Owen).
