La 20th Century Fox ha annunciato ufficialmente la data di uscita del sequel di X-Men: L'Inizio, al momento ancora privo di titolo.
Il regista Matthew Vaughn, che per il primo episodio si è trovato con una deadline ravvicinatissima e ha dovuto condurre una produzione davvero serrata, questa volta avrà molto più tempo: il sequel infatti non uscirà prima del 18 luglio 2014.
Al momento le riprese sono fissate per gennaio 2013, per permettere a Jennifer Lawrence di girare The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Assieme a lei torneranno nel cast anche James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, January Jones, Nicholas Hoult, Caleb Landry Jones e Lucas Till.
