With the release of "Prometheus" only a week and a half away, Fox has unveiled a new featurette for the movie that focuses on the ship itself. And while the style and shape of the vehicle are all very interesting, we find writer Damon Lindelof's reasoning for why the movie is named after the ship to be very telling.

"'Prometheus' [the myth] talked about all the things that we wanted the movie to be about. Creation, defiance of the gods, the hubris of it all," he said.

For those of you who aren't as up on your Greek mythology, Prometheus was a titan who acted as a champion for mankind.
