Ultimi scampoli di festival con i due film in concorso 'Mud' e 'The Taste of Money', e il thriller 'Maniac', con Elijah Wood nei panni di un serial killer collezionista di scalpi. Ultimo giorno di Festival (domani sapremo a chi andrà la Palma d'Oro) ma non per questo è una giornata che manca di interesse. In concorso infatti troviamo Mud, terza opera del 33enne regista americano Jeff Nichols che lo scorso anno aveva impressionato il Sundance e anche la stessa Cannes (anche se nella sezione parallela della Semaine de la Critique) con il bellissimo Take Shelter. Nel cast di Mud oltre al fedelissimo del regista Michael Shannon troviamo anche Reese Witherspoon, Sam Shepard, Sarah Paulson e Matthew McConaughey che nei giorni scorsi ha presentato lo "scandaloso" The Paperboy e in questo film »
