In occasione della promozione dell'uscita americana del blu-ray di The woman in black, Daniel Radcliffe ha rivelato quella che pare essere una delle sue maggiori aspirazioni d'attore, vale a dire quella d'interpretare un supereroe e, nello specifico, gli piacerebbe molto interpretare il ruolo di Flash. La possibilità che il suo desiderio venga realizzato in effetti esiste, poiché è già da un po' di tempo che la Warner Bros sta pensando di realizzare un film sul supereroe in calzamaglia rossa, già arrivato in televisione grazie al telefilm del 1990: pare che addirittura sia già pronta anche la sceneggiatura ma, dato lo scarso successo riscosso dai supereroi "minori", attualmente il progetto sarebbe stato messo in stand-by per preferire invece supereroi famosi come Batman o Superman (che tornerà presto al cinema in Man of Steel).
