"Smash" is going to undergo some much-needed changes in its second season -- in March, it was announced that creator Theresa Rebeck was leaving her position as show-runner, with "Gossip Girl" executive producer Josh Safran stepping in to take her place. Christian Borle, who plays Tom, told the La Times the show is "almost getting rebooted," and that he thought season two was "actually going to delve more into the process of the creation and what the writing partnership is, the nuts and bolts of that room."
