El argentino Pablo Trapero, habitual en la selección oficial del festival de Cannes, vuelve con su estilo social realista comprometido y viril en Elefante blanco, estrenada ayer en Un Certain Regard. El largometraje trata la situación de los monjes de los suburbios treinta años después del Movimiento de sacerdotes para el Tercer Mundo. El film fue recibido por un aplauso sostenido por casi cinco minutos, de toda una sala repleta.
